Then Magician light a cigarette & put the smoke through his belly. The smoke passes through belly. Then Magicain removes the rod & take out the asistant safely from frame.

Illusion type effect. Easy to do. You may perform it in all stages. When Magician puts smoke in the pipe & the smoke is out from other side. That proof the rod is passing directly.
